Elevate Technology Solutions is currently accepting applications for a Systems Support Specialist, to support our operations in Hilton Head, SC.

This excellent opportunity requires that the ideal candidate have excellent organizational and communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.


The Systems Support Specialist will be responsible for the following:
Facilitating resolution of computer-related problems, such as inoperative hardware or software using both internal and external resources.
Analyzing needs of users and work with the support team to formulate and implementing solutions in response to needs.
Analyzing and troubleshooting LAN connectivity issues and computer and peripheral hardware and software problems individually and with the assistance of RMR support team.
Managing daily work load and problem and requests as presented in the ticket system; open, update, escalate, and close tickets as appropriate. o Maintaining familiarity with properties' business applications (including current Windows OS, current MS Office suite, Microsoft Exchange, internet browsers, proprietary software such as PMS, POS and S&C packages, etc.).
Assisting in training employees in use of new and existing software or hardware.
Installing peripherals and software as required.
Maintaining inventory of software, hardware, and peripherals.
Performing other activities necessary to support the property level staff as well as remote support team.
Maintaining and managing internet connections and bandwidth requirements for webinars, video conferencing, and/or webcasting.
Performing periodic health checks on hardware and software systems, network connections, etc.
Performing other job related duties, as assigned.

The Systems Support Specialist must have the following skills:
Strong knowledge of Intel PC desktops, laptops, modems, network interface cards and Windows operating systems.
Strong knowledge of Opera, MICROS 9700, Delphi. A+, MSCE and/or CCNE certification preferred.
Familiarity with IT Service Desk Ticketing software (Service Now).
Strong verbal communications skills with ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong trouble shooting, problem solving, and onsite vendor management skills.
Excellent organizational skills and strong analytical abilities.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively to changing business requirements.

The Systems Support Specialist must meet the following
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
User-focused with attention to detail and emphasis on client service and satisfaction.
Must be comfortable working in a small and fast-paced IT group and willing to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
Must be able to work independently.
The ability to lift and move items up to 75 lbs. without the aid of moving equipment.
Ability to travel up to 25% on periodic basis.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
