Facilities Director - Town of Hilton Head Island The Town of Hilton Head Island is seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Director to lead the comprehensive management and operational success of the Town's properties, parks, beaches, and public services.
This pivotal role involves direct oversight of facilities maintenance, beach operations, and public services divisions, ensuring our community assets are maintained, enjoyed, and leveraged to their fullest potential.
What You Will Do:
Develop and implement strategic management goals aligned with the Town's vision.
Lead and set priorities for asset management, maintenance, and public service programs.
Drive policy and procedural improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Coordinate strategic planning for capital improvements and oversee significant construction projects.
Manage comprehensive budgeting for departmental projects and initiatives.
Ensure the recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing team.
Who You Are:
Holder of a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with at least seven years of related experience, preferably including facilities management.
A strategic leader with a deep understanding of facilities management, maintenance, and project management.
Skilled in multi-project management, with an ability to analyze complex problems and devise solutions.
An effective communicator, capable of developing and maintaining strong working relationships across various levels.
