General receptionist activities:
answering and transferring calls, retrieving/processing mail, greeting visitors, and assisting in the access of appropriate information.
Complete general office activities:
typing, copying, filing, distribution of forms, ordering office supplies, etc.

Highly relational, strong people skills and communication skills--ability to relate to church members, guests, and others within the community.
Familiar with Mac and PC hardware and proficient with software such as Word, Excel, and Google Docs.
Experience in operating a variety of office equipment.
Attentive to detail Demonstrates initiative and is a self-starter.
Reporting Relationship:
The Office Assistant will receive formal oversight from the Church Administrator.
This will include regular supervision, support, oversight, and evaluation.
Part-time, onsite and working remotely.
Vacation Schedule:
Two weeks paid vacation, after 6 months seniority.
Paid holidays include (when they fall between Tuesday and Thursday:
New Year's Day, Martin Luther King's Birthday, Easter Monday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day / the following Friday, Christmas Day/ the day after Christmas.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
