Job Description:
The System Support Engineer position is expected to perform a variety of niche and complex activities involved in the installation, configuration, set-up, operations, modification and repair of computer, automated office, telecommunications and multi-media equipment, systems and related hardware and software for their location.
They will handle requests from on-site users and for systems around the property.
This role will be collaborating with the other technology groups across Disney as well as the resort leaders.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all areas of the resort are supported with proper computer systems.
Provide technical support for all resort systems including but not limited to:
CCTV, POS, Servers, UPS, Guest room door locks, Front desk systems, music system Maintain and support LAN drops Provide support for Workstations and printers Service All business applications Perform system administration and maintenance tasks including:
Management of software maintenance/updates (Windows, Office, etc.
) Management of virus protection and end point protection General network and user administration tasks Lead projects including but not limited to:
Cable management Office Moves CCTV Cameras Digital Signate (Front Desk) Provide infrastructure support for following:
Phone Room Lan Closet Server Room Manage VLANs and servers Guest WIFI and Access Points Resort TVs Audio System Patch Panel /Port management Manage time and advance issues as needed Track and document all setup/configurations of systems, issue resolutions and project support Ensure all PCI, Security and Network corporate policies and procedures are followed Support Entry card access (Beach House, resort main entry, future Big Dipper gates) and programming as well as any future card access to cast areas Provide direct support of frontline Cast for access and hardware/software requests (Traka accesses, Visi Online, key fobs, etc.
) Maintenance of resort time clocks Management of ordering needed IT supplies (Traka security loops, blank Visi keys, fobs, cord control ties, etc.
) Coordination of timely removal to Walt Disney World of outdated hardware to prevent accumulation on property Other duties as assigned Must be available to be on call for after hours and weekends as needed
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Computer Science or relevant technical subject area and/or relevant experience Consistent track record of providing end user IT services.

years of experience as support analyst/engineer including image creation/build, OS installation/troubleshooting.
Experience supporting voice/data infrastructure.
Emphasis on sharing of knowledge through good communications, peer training, and written documentation Initiative and ability to research problems independently and find root causes Focused on quality, organized, committed to continual improvement Outstanding ability to interact and connect with all levels of end users Outstanding ability to organize and prioritize technical services requests Outstanding ability to diagnose technical problems and quickly find solutions with very little direction/ interaction.
Outstanding ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Flexibility and agility while working on multiple tasks.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
